Bailout road trip! Big 3 drive to Washington

Hat in hand, the head honchos from Ford, Chrysler and GM drove their own cars to Washington in search of a bailout worth billions.

My pilot needs a bailout
The last time the CEOs of the Detroit automakers appeared before Congress, they were widely criticized for flying to Washington in cushy corporate jets to ask for billions in loans.

This time they wised up and elected to drive the approximately 500 miles from Detroit to D.C. And, to illustrate just how worthy their respective automotive enterprises are, they're all driving hybrid vehicles.

Total drive time: Nine or ten hours, not including pit stops. Here is a look at the cars they drove.
